Nikon's revolutionary COOLPIX S1000pj combines 12.1 effective mega pixels and a 5x wide-angle Zoom-NIKKOR lens with the world's first ultra-small built-in projector. New Skin Softening smoothes skin tone at three different levels for optimal portraits. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix™ automatically fixes most instances of red-eye in the camera.
You may never see red-eye again.Face-Priority AF  Nikon’s face-finding technology that automatically focuses on up to 12 faces. Smile Timer, Blink Proof and Blink Warning makes sure you’ll always catch the decisive moment when your subject smiles and Blink Proof function shoots two pictures and automatically saves the one in which the subject’s eyes remain open. Blink Warning, when activated alerts you that the subject may have blinked and allows you to retake the photo. D-Lighting rescues dark or backlit images by improving brightness and detail where needed.
Nikon has also been announced three Coolpix superzoom compact cameras, two of which incorporate 12MP CMOS sensors. The P500 and S9100 offer wide-angle 36x (22.5-810mm equiv.) and 18x (25-450mm equiv.) optical zoom lenses, 920K dot 3.0" LCDs and record 1080p Full HD videos. The P500 also features the company's latest Expeed C2 dual image processor. The 14MP CCD-based L120 offers a 21x zoom lens starting at a wide 25mm, 920K dot 3.0" LCD, records 720p HD videos and is powered by AA batteries.
